Riders to pass halfway mark - Tour d’Horse Day Three
After two epic days in the saddle, the Tour d’Horse riders mount up once again for day three - a picturesque ride where the physical demands will be matched only by the stunning scenery and the growing sense of camaraderie.
Proudly supported by Yulong, one of Australia’s leading breeding and racing operations. Known for their world-class facilities and commitment to equine welfare, Yulong’s partnership promotes how industry leaders are getting behind the KIDS Foundation’s mission to raise $1 million for children recovering from burns and trauma.
Riders departed on horseback this morning, winding their way through the countryside en route to lunch at the scenic Scone Polo Grounds - with full vehicle access allowing supporters and media to join.
“There’s a real buzz among the riders as we head into Day Three. Bonds are forming, stories are being shared around the campfires, and you can feel the growing connection, not just between rider and horse, but between people who’ve come together for something bigger than themselves." said KIDS Foundation CEO Susie O’Neill.
As Tour d’Horse enters the halfway mark of the six-day challenge, day three will test the rider’s endurance, but create meaningful and impactful conversations.
