Stars Saddle Up - Tour d’Horse Begins Its Epic Ride
Tour d’Horse 2025 officially kicks off today at the historic Belltrees Station with the Macka’s Angus Beef Trophy - Belltrees Ride, marking the first of six powerful days on horseback in support of the KIDS Foundation.
This ambitious endurance event aims to raise $1 million to help children and families recover from trauma and life-altering injuries. And it’s not your average trail ride - today’s launch sees a remarkable group of public figures, athletes, and industry leaders take the reins, including Group 1-winning trainer Annabel Neasham, renowned jockeys Jamie and Ben Melham and filmmaker Simon Wincer – just to name a few.
Each rider is paired with a retired racehorse, retrained specifically for this event to help spotlight the power of second chances - for both people and horses. Belltrees Station, with its deep roots in Australian pastoral and horse history, offers a symbolic and majestic setting for the beginning of the journey.
Today’s ride is proudly supported by Macka’s Angus Beef, a family-owned operation that shares Tour d’Horse’s values of resilience, legacy, and community. Known for producing world-class beef with a focus on sustainability and animal welfare.
Day One sets the tone for what promises to be an unforgettable week - one filled with emotion and extraordinary impact.
