For Phoebe White and Jonathon Bush, Tour d'Horse was a chance to experience the place they love from a completely different perspective.

Growing up at Belltrees, Phoebe thought she knew every corner of the property. But as the riders travelled across the vast landscape, she found herself discovering views she'd never seen before.

"I've grown up here all my life, but there were places and views I'd never seen."

It was a reminder that sometimes slowing down and taking a different path can reveal something extraordinary, even in places we know best.

Adding to the family connection, Phoebe's father Peter White, brother of Tour d'Horse legend Anto White, joined the ride for a day, sharing in a journey that has become such an important part of the White family's commitment to giving back.

Alongside Phoebe, Jono proudly represented Woolooma Station, sharing not only the beauty of the Upper Hunter but the spirit of community, kindness and connection that sits at the heart of Tour d'Horse.

Because while the landscapes are breathtaking, it's the people, families and purpose behind the ride that leave the greatest impression. Every kilometre ridden helps support children, young people and families impacted by trauma, injury and disabling health conditions, whose resilience continues to inspire us all.

Tour d'Horse reminds us that family isn't always defined by blood. It's the people who show up, stand beside you and help you through life's toughest moments. That's what makes the KIDS Foundation community so special. It truly is a family.
