Hello my name is Nellie Tuddenham, I’m super excited and honoured to be riding for Petstock Foundation in Tour d’Horse 2025. The ride is over 6 days, through challenging terrain in the Hunter Valley. The reason this ride is so special to me is because I’m also doing it in honour of my baby sister, Bella who passed away in 2021. In a roundabout way she bought horses to the Foundation. On a trip we took after we had Bella’s funeral I asked my mum and nan to go horse riding with me. That day the horses bought the most unexpected healing for us and her. After that Nan, who is the CEO of the KIDS Foundation, introduced equine therapy and assisted learning into their recovery and education programs, which led to creating this event, Tour d’Horse. I’m aiming to reach $45,000 to go toward sending children and families that have had trauma and injuries to a recovery camp. I’m nearly there and with you help I know I will reach my goal.
