TRAGIC LOSS
On Saturday 24th January, David Morris was tragically killed in a cycling accident on the outskirts of Sydney. David was the General Manager of Supercraft, Presenting Sponsor for Ironman Australia and Ironman Western Australia.
Everyone involved with Ironman Australia has been shocked and devastated to hear this news. David was a much loved and respected member of the Ironman community; most recently, he completed Ironman Western Australia just eight weeks after representing Australia in the 2008 Ironman World Championships, Hawaii. He is survived by his wife Jennifer and daughter Ainslie; we extend our thoughts and deepest sympathy to Jennifer, Ainslie and all of David's family, friends and colleagues.
David's family have been overwhelmed with the support already extended to them. Jennifer and Ainslie in particular wish to acknowledge the incredible warmth they have been shown by the Ironman community.
